Nice try. Good for others seeking a note taking application.

I prefer plain text, perhaps with a markdown. I've been burned too many times.

My order of desired notes/data sharing:
  1. Plain Text
  2. Markdown ( textile, but markdown is only slightly worse)
  3. HTML
  4. RTF
  5. XML-based documents using any ODF tool (yaml, json are the same level and hate)
  6. PDF and proprietary forums.
